About Us

Until Ride-Away came on the scene in 1986, the modification of vehicles for people with disabilities was a secondary operation for most providers. We recognized that our clientele has special needs, needs that can be best met by a company whose only business is providing transportation solutions for disabled drivers and passengers. This has become increasingly true as the available transportation options have grown in number, efficiency and complexity.

As the East Coast's largest supplier of handicap-modified vehicles, we know that buying the right full-size or minivan can be a challenge. That's why we use a three-step process to help clients buy wisely:

1. Determine your special needs. We ask the right questions to help you decide what is best for your needs and your circumstances, both now and in the future.

2. Understand your alternatives. We want you to know about all your options, including vehicle type and size, equipment, modifications, even color! With more than 150 vehicles in inventory, you can actually see what is best for you.

3. At your pace, we help you buy. No high pressure, just sincere help to buy what you decide you need and want. One of our commandments is to treat every customer like we would want our mother to be treated. We live that philosophy every day.
